I remember fondly the camera my Dad had, he was always taking pictures of us. He would go and hide in some dark place and change the film. It intrigued me. My uncle had a photography business and had the huge camera, it was only a Hasselblad, but to a young boy I was fascinated. He would tell me it was my turn to be the photographer, and I would pretend to take pictures of him and he would ham it up.

So that's where you get your talent and passion for photography! It's great you had a father who encouraged your creative side. You can't get that kind of mentoring in school.
