- Serena Kovalosky
- Artist, writer and cultural entrepreneur Serena Kovalosky spent 18 years in the travel industry before retiring her backpack to focus on her goals as a visual artist. Moving into an artists' loft in Montreal, Canada she left behind the 9-to-5 corporate culture for a more creative lifestyle. Years later, she returned to her rural roots in upstate New York to further her artistic research of the organic form, and found herself drawn back into travel - exploring country roads from behind the wheel of an old Chevy Lumina. Combining her passion for food, art and travel, Kovalosky has taken on the role of an "Artful Vagabond" as she travels regularly (in-between art exhibitions) and chronicles her discoveries in this blog. Great blog post! Really enjoyed reading about the art exhibit as well as the food! Route 22 is one of my favorite NY State routes to travel -- so scenic -- and I always marvel at the beautiful vistas just over the border from my beloved Vermont! We should plan a short road trip together one of these days!
There's nothing quite like the splendor of Washington County. It has much to offer and you illustrate that beautifully.
