I love it! Art for art's sake. Reminded of Magister Ludi, the secret place which was "For Madmen Only" (his sexism not mine). Where is this wonderful world run by artists?
And it looks like the magic shoes have "The Sock Lady's" socks on. Her motto is "life is too short for matching socks" and without art and creative ventures so boring!
It is up to us artists to create the world we want to live in!
I wish it were possible to upload a photo in the comment section. I would love to share my painted shoes. There may be many more of us out there than you think! I could definitely see shoes with the kinds of decorations you put on your gourds. Gold and silver leaf -- gorgeous!
