Thanks for this wonderful journey.

This was an interesting and enjoyable piece. It reminded me of weekends spent with my friends camping along the banks of the Hudson River. We were teenagers and would spread out sleeping bags on the bare ground with no tent or cover and spend the entire night circled around a roaring fire sharing stories of the past, and dreams of the future. Thanks to you and to Rick for sharing this experience.

Now as fiery leaves lick colorfully toward the sky, I am all the more grateful for the Firekeeper's Tale!

Thanks, John for sharing your story - it's great to have such a memory to carry you throughout your adulthood.

And thanks everyone for your comments. It's a great story that provides warmth as we move into the fall season.

Great Journey Serena...
Just the reading accomplished the task of making me sit back and follow the 36-hour meditation of the fire. Lovely, beautiful, refreshing!
